UX/UI Designer
Empire Pixel as a business has developed a web application that helps consumers and businesses search on any vehicle’s history with a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). We use various data providers and vehicle sources to give us detailed information about each vehicle, which gives us
the ability to generate a high-quality detailed report for customers.
Position Overview:
A UI/UX designer will work on web-based applications to ensure that they are user-friendly and functional. He/she will use technical skills and knowledge of design to create applications that are easy and enjoyable for end-users to operate. We’re looking for an individual that can show
leadership and has the experience in guiding and mentoring designers within the business. Also, the individual must help management in implementing the latest design processes, tools, ideas and techniques.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with designers and developers to brainstorm application ideas
- Reflect on data to analyze trends
- Develop product mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and show user flows
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Identify and continuously look to improve product UX flow
- Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
- Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
- Analyze customer responses and website data to examine high traffic web pages and determine why certain webpages perform better
- Create surveys for research through various media platforms to gather feedback on user's ease of use and satisfaction interfacing on company websites and products
- Use recent studies and findings to establish the best overall design elements to include in complete UI and UX design experience
Essential Skills:
- Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, Figma, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Analytical skills

Academic Requirement:
- A bachelor's degree
Experience Requirement:
- 2-3 year work experience UI/UX designer will be preferred
